Lucky me, I was the winner, winner of Just Another Hang Up's September bag give-a-way, and received the above tote. I love love love it, and encourage anyone looking for a well made unique bag to go check her out.
Since then I've been following the above mentioned blog and was inspired by her Halloween Bags for the Grandkids. I though how nice it would be for Dean and Evan to have a trick-or-treat bag of their very own this year. I raced down to the Walmart (I didn't want to go farther or spend a lot on fabric) I came home with the yardage below and am in love with the owls.
I checked back on Just Another Hang Up to look at her bags again and realize I bought almost the same fabric, really it wasn't intentional and I didn't even realize it was the same until just now. How funny. So wish me happy sewing. Except I can't start until I've cleaned up the office, and can put up a craft table, so I don't have to have a mess on the kitchen table.
It is official Dean can walk. He can go across the family room no problem. We still have a lot of crawling, but there's a lot of walking too. Now when Evan started walking at 11 months old we went out and got him his first pair of shoes, size 5 1/2. For those of you who don't know kids shoe sizes that is huge. In addition to having large feet Evan's feet grow fast, he only is in a pair for 3-4 months tops. Therefore we have a lot of slightly used shoes for Dean, but nothing smaller than 5 1/2.
These cute shoes were found at Nordstrom Rack, along with a pair for Evan, size 11.
